Our Air Dry Clay Workshop brought together a wonderful group of women who gathered around the table to spend an evening slowing down, trying something new, and embracing the creative process. There was no pressure to be perfect—just an invitation to make something beautiful with our hands.

From the moment everyone arrived, the atmosphere was exactly what we hope every workshop feels like: warm, welcoming, and inspiring. Guests enjoyed light refreshments while getting to know one another before diving into their clay projects.

Throughout the evening, each person learned techniques for shaping, smoothing, and adding texture to their clay. Faux flowers and greenery became beautiful tools for pressing delicate botanical patterns into the surface, creating pieces that reflected each person's unique style.

Each person was given a pound of air dry clay, along with a clay roller, a wood skewer, and sponge, and they designed and formed their pieces. They took them home to let them finish drying, then they will paint and seal them. We sent them home with sealer and a foam brush.

One of my favorite parts of the evening was watching everyone's confidence grow. Several attendees mentioned that they weren't naturally artistic, but by the end of the workshop they were proudly holding pieces they couldn't wait to display in their homes. It's always a reminder that creativity isn't about perfection—it's about enjoying the process.

What I love most about these gatherings isn't just the finished projects—it's the conversations shared around the table, the encouragement between strangers who quickly become friends, and the opportunity to step away from busy schedules for a few peaceful hours.

Thank you to everyone who chose to spend your evening with us. It is such a privilege to welcome you into the Garden House, and I always leave feeling inspired by your creativity.

If you weren't able to join us this time, we'd love to have you at one of our upcoming creative workshops. We have more evenings of creativity planned throughout the summer, and we'd love for you to experience the Garden House for yourself.
