There is something special about gathering around a table with beautiful flowers, good conversation, and people you've only just met.
This week, we welcomed a wonderful group of women to the White Gables Garden House for our Pressed Flower Workshop. Each guest created a botanical art piece using real pressed flowers arranged on an arched wood board. While everyone began with the same supplies, no two pieces looked alike. Some designs were delicate and minimal, while others were full of color and texture. It was a beautiful reminder that creativity doesn't have to follow rules—it's simply an expression of the person creating it.

One of our favorite moments is always watching the room transform. At the beginning of the evening, many guests arrive as strangers. By the end, conversations are flowing, people are encouraging one another's creativity, and new friendships are beginning to form. It's exactly what we hope the Garden House will continue to be—a place where people come together not only to make something beautiful, but to connect with one another.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and made the evening so memorable. We truly love opening the Garden House and sharing these creative experiences with our community.
If you weren't able to attend this workshop, we'd love to have you at a future event. Throughout the year we'll continue hosting seasonal workshops that celebrate creativity, hospitality, and the beauty of making something with your own hands.
