Before we began our kitchen renovations, we knew we needed to install a sink in the mudroom because we would be kitchen-less for awhile (#thediylife). I had visions of a vintage sink and the mister found one for me! We found the sink on Craigslist and it was in pretty rough shape, so we painted it with a paint made for ceramic surfaces. It has held up fairly well, but since we used the sink pretty hard when we didn't have a kitchen sink, it does have small spots where the paint is coming off. It doesn't bother me though.

Isn't she pretty?? The faucet was an inexpensive one (less than $70!) from Amazon and has done a great job for us. The faucet mount is adjustable, which made it very easy to install since the sink came with holes for a faucet. Otherwise, we would have had to search for a faucet to fit perfectly into the holes. I highly recommend it!

The hanging wire basket is from Amazon as well, and the Fern Study wall hanging is from Volume 25.

It has been so helpful to have the sink in the mudroom. It is right by my studio, so I use it for cleaning painting brushes, and we use it for cleaning all kinds of dirty stuff that comes with living in the country.
