Magnolia leaf wreaths have been catching my eye lately, and they are usually fairly expensive to buy, so I decided to make one of my own. Sometimes it is worth it to spend the money to buy something already made, but other times it is much more rewarding to figure it out myself.

.

Here are the supplies I used:

:: An 18" grapevine wreath. You can buy them inexpensively at craft stores.

:: Two bunches of magnolia leaves from Hobby Lobby

:: Green floral wire

:: Wire cutter tool

.

Directions:

1. Cut the stems off the magnolia leaves from the main bunch with the wire cutter, so that you have smaller bunches.

2. Poke the smaller bunches into the grapevine wreath until the wreath is filled fully with the leaves.

When you are finished poking the stems into the grapevine wreath, use the floral wire to wire any loose leaves or stems onto the wreath.

It's as easy as that! I will hang the wreath indoors, because the outdoor elements would probably fade the leaf colors.
