It’s a GIRL!!
Violet Sophia was born on Friday morning, and we are all doing really well! We’re home now and are starting the “adjustment” phase of things. I wish I could just bypass the next 6 weeks, but this is life and it’s not always easy!
Did I mention that she might be the most beautiful baby I’ve ever seen? Of course, I might be slightly biased!
Avery and Jack are just LOVING her and can’t get enough! It’s the sweetest thing.
When we came home from the hospital, Avery asked me why my belly still looked like there was a baby inside. I promptly grounded her for a week and gave away all her toys to the neighbor kids. The nerve! Kids are just way too honest sometimes!
So for now we are cozying up, not going anywhere, and I’m enjoying having the hubs home for a few days to help around the house. And, of course, I’m trying to get sleep whenever I can!
