I created this super easy large photo for literally less than $5. How crazy is that? Want to know how I did it?
Here's what I used...
:: A large old window frame with glass
:: Elmer's CraftBond spray adhesive leftover from a previous project
:: An engineering print ordered online through Staples
Here are the steps I used:
:: I printed the photo through Staples.com. The engineering prints are available in 18x24, 24x36, 30x42, 36x48. I printed it in 24x36 size. The prints aren't meant to be used for photos, but in my experience, they've printed really well. I ordered it online and picked it up at a local Staples store. The 24x36 size costs $3.59. You can't beat that!
:: I sprayed the spray adhesive onto the glass of the window, then pressed the print onto the glass. The print was larger than the window, so I cut off the excess with a box cutter knife after the print adhered to the glass.
And that's it! See, I told you it was super easy!
I hung it in Jack & Sawyer's bedroom and love how it turned out! I'm always looking for ways to display photos of the kiddos and our family, and this is an inexpensive, simple way to make it happen.
