I am typically a lover of light wall colors, but I don't know if it's because we are in the middle of winter or what, but I got inspired to paint a room in my house a very dark color and I decided on my dining room. It was originally painted Benjamin Moore Gray Owl, which I love, but I wanted something darker for a change.
I saw a dark gray color that I really liked on Instagram and decided to give it a try. It's Sherwin Williams Urbane Bronze, and it's the perfect dark gray color! It has brown undertones and is a really nice neutral.

Here is what it looked like before:

Like I said, I did really like the original color, but I was in the mood for a switch. If you'd like to see how I made over the table, you can find the tutorial here. The plant is a ficus that I just bought. I liked the leaves of it, because it reminds me of an olive tree, which is what I really wanted, but they are high-maintenance, so I decided to go with something that will hopefully do well there.

I have a buffet along the one wall that actually used to be a shop work table that we found along the side of the road for free. You can see how I refinished it here. It's so handy to store my extra dishes that I use for entertaining! I love the texture of the wood on it as well as the metal shelves.

We have a small coffee station on the other side of the room with a cabinet that I found at Goodwill and painted. The wine bottle hanger was from HomeGoods.
