If you've followed me for any length of time, you know how much I love turning trash into treasure. And that was certainly the case with this old work table that my husband found along the side of the road for free. He picked it up, and we've kept it in the shop or greenhouse for the past four years or so.
Here's what it looked like when we first got it...
When we built our new kitchen, I needed a buffet table for the dining room and immediately thought of using this.
It needed a lot of scrubbing, then I painted the metal shelves and legs with Olympic Navy Seawall in a semi-gloss finish. I left the wood top as-is, but I cleaned it really well. I love all the character that it has! It is so nice having a piece in the dining room that can be used as a buffet when we host larger groups of people.
Here are sources from the space:
:: The clock is available in our shop.
:: I picked up the Elderflower lemonade from HomeGoods, and it's my current favorite drink. The lemon plate was also from HomeGoods.
:: The mug holder is from Amazon.
:: The baskets, plates, and cutting boards were from Goodwill.
