Can I just say that for the past few weeks I have been sitting out on my porch and staring at my roses – willing them to start blooming!
And they have started!! So FUN!
Oh, the things that get me excited!
I wanted to do a bunch of container plants on the porch but was determined to only use the pots that I already have (flowers and pots can get expensive – yuck!!).
So, I brought in these old pots I had and slapped them with a quick coat of white paint. And I do mean slap. I wanted them to look rustic, and I am so not into perfection.
I don’t have the patience or the time.

Can you believe I saved this sweet table from going into the burn pile at my neighbor’s house?! I didn’t even need to paint it or anything.
Crazy the things you can find for free if you keep your eyes open! And I am not above being nosy and asking for stuff! Just ask the hubs.
I painted numbers on the little pots, just cause I love it so!
I picked up this rickety old chair at a yard sale for a couple bucks. Talk about character! This guy is oozing it! Just don’t try to sit on it. Because you will probably end up on the floor in about 2 seconds.
Sigh, oh, how I love spring! Love it, love it, love it!!
