So a few weeks ago my husband brought home an old armoire that he saw setting along the side of the road for free. Be jealous, ladies, he is mine.

It looked really sad and this is the only picture I took of it before I gave it a much-needed makeover. It is a very sturdy, non-smelly piece with cedar on the inside.

After I painted it, I distressed the edges with sandpaper and added door handles from Hobby Lobby.Aimee Weaver nursery 4 Aimee Weaver nursery 3 Aimee Weaver nursery 6It looks like a completely different piece of furniture now! And it only cost us some paint and hardware. It’s amazing what you can do with paint!
