There’s a local barn owned by an Amish man that I visit every now and then. The barn is the reason that I started my sign-making business. I owe so much to this treasure-filled space.

I found out about it about four years ago, and it’s where I bought all my barn doors and old wood at the beginning of my business. This was my only source for materials for quite a while. I’ve also found lots of antiques that I use to decorate with. barn9

There are two stories absolutely filled to the brim with old stuff. It’s not very organized, but if you dig deep enough and spend enough time, you are sure to find something you’ll love.barn10 barn4 barn5 barn6 barn7 barn2 barn3

Some things I’ve gotten there over the years…

-barn doors

-old wood

-old wood crates

-globes

-vintage metal cabinet

-old door hinges

-old metal sign for Jack’s room

-wood toolbox that I plant flowers in

-metal egg baskets

-old jars

-wood ladders

-old wood stool

And there are probably many more things I’ve gotten there that I’m forgetting.
